A company that sells health insurance through the Web has set up a health savings account sales system aimed at small and midsize employers.
EHealth Inc., Mountain View, Calif., the parent of eHealthInsurance.com, developed the new BusinessHSA system together with the National Federation of Independent Business, Washington. EHealth announced the program today in Washington, at an NFIB meeting.
Employers can use the BusinessHSA system to administer employee HSAs and contribute to the HSAs.
Employees can use the system to open an HSA and apply for HSA-compatible health coverage, eHealth says.
