Claremont Business Group Inc. and Cyntron Payroll Solutions L.L.C. have formed a marketing alliance.
Claremont, Walnut Creek, Calif., an employee benefits broker, has agreed to sell the PayrollSelect payroll service from Cyntron, Pasadena, Calif.
Claremont will get a broker-of-record contract and a monthly commission, Cyntron says.
Selling payroll services can help a benefits broker compete more effectively against banks, outside payroll services and professional employer organizations, according to Claremont and Cyntron.
