About 75% of U.S. workers say they are worried about financial matters, and 45% say financial worries are making it harder for them to do their jobs.
Researchers at Workplace Options Inc., Raleigh, N.C., a work-life services vendor, have published those figures in a summary of results from a recent survey of 749 working U.S. adults.
Client companies' employees called the Workplace Options financial help desk 41% more often in the first quarter this year than in the first quarter of 2007, the researchers report.
