MedAmerica Inc. will be giving insurance producers direct access to its long term care insurance underwriters.
The new Partners In Underwriting Program will help give agents faster and more predictable medical underwriting decisions for LTC policies, according to MedAmerica, a unit of Lifetime Healthcare Inc., Rochester, N.Y.
Producers who participate in the program will get direct telephone access to underwriters, who will review and pre-qualify applicants on the spot, MedAmerica says.
