Brian Jacobs is the new chairman of the Money Management Institute.
The MMI, Washington, represents separately managed account and wealth management companies.
Jacobs is a managing director in the New York office of Allianz Global Investors U.S. Retail L.L.C., a unit of Allianz S.E., Munich, Germany.
Jacobs succeeds Kevin Hunt, an executive vice president at Old Mutual US Holdings Inc., Boston, a unit of Old Mutual P.L.C., London.
The chairman-elect is Charles Widger, chairman of Brinker Capital Inc., Berwyn, Pa.
