Aetna Inc., Hartford, has provided a $25,000 grant to the Modern Maturity Center in Dover, Del.
The grant will go to the organization's Day Break adult care program, a supervised day care plan for functionally impaired older adults. The program offers seniors an alternative to nursing homes by providing them with medical supervision, personal care help, meals, social and recreation programs, and transportation, Aetna says.
