Regulatory agencies and the AARP are preparing to hold a Seniors Summit Sept. 10.
The agencies helping to sponsor the event are the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission; the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Washington; and the North American Securities Administrators Association, Washington.
One major highlight will be the release of a report on securities firms that appeal to older consumers by offering investment seminars that serve a free lunch, officials say.
