A large insurer is getting ready to expand the services it offers employees who have small children.
Principal Financial Group Inc., Des Moines, Iowa, will break ground Friday on the Principal Child Development Center, a Des Moines-based child care center that will have slots for 180 children between the ages of 6 weeks and preschool age.
The center should open in late 2008, Principal says.
