Morningstar Inc. announced that under a deal with Pyxis Mobile, a wireless software provider, the company will launch in May Morningstar Mobile for Wholesalers, which will allow mutual fund wholesalers to access Morningstar mutual fund and ETF data using their wireless mobile devices. The service will use Pyxis Mobile's mPlatform Alliance (mPA) program, under which Pyxis Mobile partners like Morningstar can provide services to their customers using, in this instance, mWholesaler wireless software for Blackberry or Windows Mobile-powered devices.
