A foundation affiliated with New York Life Insurance Company is giving $150,000 to 6 New York City and Westchester, N.Y., groups that provide afterschool and weekend activities for children.
The 6 groups that received the 2007 activity grants all run "safe places to learn and grow," according to the New York Life Foundation, New York.
