Guardian Life Insurance Company of America has hired Bo Jackson to help it promote the importance of protecting income.

Jackson, who played professional football and also was a professional baseball player, had leave football and pull back from his previous level of activity in baseball after injuries forced him to undergo a hip replacement procedure.

Jackson is participating in a disability insurance radio media tour for Guardian today and also is granting print media interviews, according to Guardian, New York.
