The Council for Disability Awareness is trying to educate consumers about the risk of losing the ability to work.
The CDA, Portland, Maine, has posted a consumer education Web site at Document Link
The site, a component of the CDA's latest public awareness campaign, includes facts and figures about disability, real life stories, tips for a healthy lifestyle, and a family financial review that can help families estimate what their income and expenses might look like during a disability.
