A Golden State carrier has introduced health insurance policies aimed at consumers who want to set up health savings accounts.
Health Net of California, a unit of Health Net Inc., Thousand Oaks, Calif., says its new EZAccess HSA program offers California individuals and families a choice of several different HSA-compatible preferred provider organization plans.
All of the plans provide zero-deductible preventive care benefits for children and adults, Health Net says.
Wells Fargo & Company, San Francisco, will supply the health savings accounts and HSA debit cards, Health Net says.
