The U.S. State Department has hired Managed Health Network to test the idea of creating a support program for department employees who must work overseas without their families.
MHN, Point Richmond, Calif., a unit of Health Net Inc., Woodland Hills, Calif., will create a Web-based product that will provide information about dealing with separation from relatives and round-the-clock access to telephone-based counselors who can put callers in touch with other services.
