Manulife Financial Corp. has promoted Peter Gordon to president of the John Hancock Financial Network.
The network is the career agency distribution arm of John Hancock Life Insurance Company, Boston, a U.S. unit of Manulife, Toronto.
The network has 100 offices and includes 1,450 financial representatives.
Gordon has been a senior vice president of sales and marketing at the John Hancock Retirement Plan Services unit.
Gordon has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California at Los Angeles.
