Centerstone Insurance and Financial Services Inc. has acquired Weston Group Benefits L.L.C.
Centerstone, Dallas, runs the BenefitMall employee benefits insurance distribution Web site along with a traditional general agency operation. The company has relationships with 15,000 independent brokers.
Weston, Rye Brook, N.Y., is a 15-year-old firm that works with 2,100 brokers and 25,000 in-force groups. It focuses on distributing through brokers in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.
