Travel Insurance Services says it is speeding up the turnaround time for sales of its Study USA-HealthCare policies.
TIS, Walnut Creek, Calif., says it now will help college students meet college health insurance requirements quickly by providing "instant e-mail confirmation" of insurance coverage and a Web-based renewal process.
A unit of American International Group Inc., New York, underwrites the coverage, and students can choose between buying annual coverage or paying for coverage by the month. Rates start at $39 per month.
