Industry organizations are joining to offer a 3-day retirement industry conference starting April 5.
The conference will include tracks on annuities, retirement plans and retirement income.
One retirement income session will talk about strategies insurers can use to overcome retail distributors' reluctance to sell income products, and another will discuss the place of income products in defined contribution plans.
The sponsoring organizations are LIMRA International, Windsor, Conn.; LOMA, Atlanta; and the Society of Actuaries, Schaumburg, Ill.
