National Financial Partners Corp. is getting closer to a major North American financial services company.
NFP, New York, has agreed to make a U.S. arm of Sun Life Financial Inc., Toronto, a core carrier, NFP says.
NFP distributes financial services products through a network of 160 company-owned firms and 210 independent affiliates.
