A major long term care insurance brokerage firm has brought in a new manager.
The brokerage firm, GoldenCare USA, Plymouth, Minn., has hired Michael Lynch to be general manager.
Lynch previously was a senior vice president in the U.S. LTC insurance division at AEGON N.V., The Hague, Netherlands.
Lynch has a bachelor's degree from Marquette University and a master's degree in business from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He holds the Certified Public Accountant and Fellow, Life Management Institute, professional designations.
GoldenCare USA and an allied brokerage firm, American Independent Marketing, Yakima, Wash., recently entered into an exclusive relationship with a unit of Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company, Omaha, Neb. The firms have developed an LTC insurance policy that offers a 5-year rate guarantee, GoldenCare says.
