A benefits software firm is expanding its sales team.
The firm, Vertafore Benefits, Tampa, Fla., has hired Craig McDonald to be Northeast regional sales consultant.
McDonald previously was a benefits Web system administrator at Corporate Synergies Inc., Mount Laurel, N.J.
McDonald has a bachelor's degree in communications from Lincoln University in Oxford, Pa., and he served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1982 to 1990.
Vertafore Benefits is a unit of Vertafore Inc., Windsor, Conn.
