The Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development has designated Barbara Koster to be the group's new chair.
Koster is chief information officer at Prudential Financial Inc., Newark, N.J.
ACORD, Pearl River, N.Y., says Clement Booth, a manager in the property-casualty operations at a unit of Allianz A.G., Munich, will be the chair-elect.
ACORD is a nonprofit group that helps develop technical standards for the insurance industry.
