MedAmerica Insurance Company has introduced the CareDirections Group Simplicity long term care insurance policy.[@@]
The policy, available to employers with 50 or more employees, will pay a specified monthly cash benefit to any insured who qualifies for long term care services.
Claimants can spend the flat monthly benefits however they want to spend the benefits, according to MedAmerica, Pittsburgh, a unit of the Lifetime Healthcare Companies, Rochester, N.Y.
