Acordia Inc. has acquired the assets of Cassidy Employee Benefit Services.[@@]
Acordia, Chicago, is not saying how much it is paying for Cassidy, Pasadena, Calif., but it notes that Michael Cassidy, one of the partners who started the national benefits brokerage firm in 1993, used to work for Acordia.
Acordia is a unit of Wells Fargo & Company, San Francisco.
