The National Association of Health Underwriters has promoted Janet Trautwein to chief executive officer.[@@]
Trautwein, previously vice president of government affairs at NAHU, Arlington, Va., succeeds Kevin Corcoran, who has left to become executive vice president of the American Chiropractic Association, Arlington.
Trautwein started out as a health insurance agent in Austin, Texas, and joined NAHU as a member in 1984. She later was a lobbyist for the Texas Association of Health Underwriters, and she began working for the parent association in 1997.
