Assurant Inc. says it will be filing its official second-quarter financial report at least 5 days late.[@@]
Assurant, New York, has notified the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that it hopes to file its Form 10-Q report for the second quarter Aug. 22. The report was due Monday.
Although Assurant says it expects to file the 10-Q Aug. 22, "there can be no assurance that the 10-Q will be filed on or prior to such date," Assurant says.
