The National Association of Specialty Health Organizations has elected Michele Alfano board secretary.[@@]
Alfano, a registered nurse, is chief operating officer of ValueOptions Inc., Norfolk, Va., a company that develops mental health benefits programs.
The American Association of Preferred Provider Organizations, Jeffersonville, Ind., founded NASHO in 2003 to serve the needs of mental health plans, dental plans, vision plans and other specialty health organizations.
