Scottish Re Group Ltd. has hired James O'Shaughnessy to be chief accounting officer and senior vice president.[@@]
Scottish Re is a Hamilton, Bermuda, life reinsurer, and O'Shaughnessy previously was chief financial officer at another Hamilton reinsurer, XL Re Ltd.
O'Shaughnessy has a bachelor's degree from University College, Cork, Ireland. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland.
