A Harrisburg, Pa., investment bank is working with the publisher of this Web site to organize a 1-day seminar on insurance agency mergers and acquisitions.[@@]
The investment bank, WFG Capital Advisors L.P., which also serves as a corporate financial advisor, is joining with the Professional Publishing Division at The National Underwriter Company, Cincinnati, to conduct the seminar, "Mergers & Acquisitions and Other Strategic Alternatives To Maximize Shareholder Value," May 18 at the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts in Elizabeth, N.J.
The seminar is geared toward agency owners and executives, banking executives and other industry professionals.
Speakers will talk about the key drivers behind industry consolidation; agency valuation and deal structures; the impact of banks on the market; what prices are currently being paid by the different buyer groups; what an agency owner should expect in a transaction process; and life after the deal.
