Richard Gephardt has joined a labor advisory board set up by American Income Life Insurance Company.[@@]
American Income, a unit of Torchmark Corp., Birmingham, Ala., sells supplemental insurance to members of unions and their families.
Gephardt served as a Democratic representative from St. Louis for 14 years and ended his career as the House minority leader.
In addition to serving on the American Income labor advisory board, Gephardt will serve as a consultant to American Income's state general agents, the company says.
