A Newark, N.J., insurer has hired a sales specialist who had been working for another large carrier.[@@]
The insurer, Prudential Financial Inc., says Joan Cleveland will be senior vice president of new business development for its individual life business.
Cleveland has been a senior vice president for national sales in the protection division at Genworth Financial Inc., Lynchburg, Va.
Cleveland has a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Phoenix. She holds the Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, Certified Long Term Care Professional and Registered Employee Benefits Consultant professional designations.
