A Portland, Ore., insurer has hired an executive with credit card industry experience.[@@]
The insurer, Standard Insurance Company, a unit of StanCorp Financial Group Inc., says Jane Hood will be vice president of marketing for its employee benefits division.
Hood has spent 8 years working for American Express Company, New York, and she also has worked on programs to market MasterCard International brands.
Hood has a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master's in business from the University of Texas at Austin.
