A Minneapolis benefits company is expanding its income protection menu.[@@]
The company, ING Employee Benefits, Minneapolis, a unit of ING Groep N.V., Amsterdam, has started selling a group voluntary long-term disability income product.
Employers who offer the coverage can have employees pay all of the premiums.
Features include a payroll deduction payment system, a choice between Web-based and paper-based enrollment, assistance for claimants with applying for Social Security disability benefits and services for claimants who need help with vocational rehabilitation.
