Units of Assurant Health are expanding their Free State individual health lines.[@@]

Maryland individuals and families will be able to buy new preferred provider organization plans, single-deductible plans and health savings account-qualified plans from Assurant Health's Fortis Insurance and John Alden subsidiaries, Assurant Health says.

Assurant Health, Milwaukee, is a unit of Assurant Inc., New York.
