A health account banker is allying itself with a health account debit card company.[@@]
The Ridgefield, N.J.-based human resources unit at Mellon Financial Corp. has agreed to market health debit cards from Med-i-Bank Inc., Waltham, Mass., together with Mellon health account banking services.
The clients will be health insurers and benefit plan administrators that need help with administering flexible spending account, health reimbursement arrangement and health savings account programs.
Clients also can use the accounts and the MBI cards to run transportation and dependent care account programs, Mellon says.
