LabOne Inc., Lenexa, Kan., has hired Kent McAllister to be chief information officer.[@@]
McAllister previously was head of the client experience group at Cerner Corp., Kansas City, Mo.. He also has been the chief information officer at Health Midwest, Kansas City, Mo., a managed care company.
McAllister has a bachelor's degree in economics from the Oklahoma Christian College.
LabOne is a laboratory testing company that gets much of its revenue from selling testing, insurance exam and telephone-based underwriting services to life and health insurers.
