The Phoenix Companies Inc., Hartford, has hired Zafar Rashid to be a senior vice president for life and annuity finance.[@@]
Rashid previously was executive vice president and chief financial officer for the annuity unit at Prudential Financial Inc., Newark, N.J.
Rashid, who has a bachelor's degree from Punjab University, is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
