Great-West Retirement Services, Greenwood Village, Colo., says Joe Smolen will be moving to its Greenwood Village corporate offices from Overland Park, Kan.[@@]

Smolen, a 401(k) pension consultant, will be responsible for selling Great-West pension products in Colorado, Kansas and Utah.

Smolen has a bachelor's degree in management from Kansas State University.
