AXA Financial Inc., New York, has hired James Mullery to be a senior vice president at AXA Financial and chief sales officer at the company's AXA Distributors L.L.C. unit.[@@]
Mullery will be responsible for internal sales, sales training, and sales of annuities and mutual funds through broker-dealers, banks and financial planners.
Mullery has been a senior vice president and director of sales and marketing at Fred Alger & Company Asset Management, Jersey City, N.J., since April 2003. He has a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Scranton.
