Edgren To Run UnumProvident Field Sales Operation

UnumProvident Corp., Chattanooga, Tenn., has hired Roger Edgren to be executive vice president of field sales.[@@]

Edgren, who will be based in Chattanooga, previously was a senior vice president at Palmer & Cay Inc., Savannah, Ga. Before that, he spent 18 years at an insurance brokerage that is now a unit of Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc., New York. He has a bachelor's degree from North Park University in Chicago.
