Ibbotson Associates, Chicago, has agreed to buy mutual fund data for its U.S. clients from Standard & Poor's, New York.[@@]
S&P will also provide exchange-traded fund and closed-end fund data.
Most of Ibbotson's customers are institutional money managers, financial planners, plan sponsors, hedge fund firms, banks, consultants and mutual fund firms.
