NU Online News Service, March 31, 2004, 5:02 p.m. EST – The federal Employee Benefits Security Administration has named Bradford Campbell deputy assistant secretary for policy.[@@]

EBSA is an arm of the U.S. Department of Labor. Campbell previously was senior legislative officer in the Labor Department's Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs.

From 1995 to 2001, Campbell worked on Capitol Hill. He served as legislative director to former Rep. Ernest Fletcher, R-Ky., who was vice chairman of the Employer-Employee Relations Subcommittee of the House Education and the Workforce Committee and chairman of the House Policy Committee's Subcommittee on Health. Campbell handled health and pension legislation, including association health plan bills, managed care bills and retirement savings plan bills.

Campbell has a bachelor's degree from Harvard University.
