NU Online News Service, March 23, 2004, 10:42 a.m. EST – Eastbridge Consulting Group Inc., Avon, Conn., says many workers are maintaining purchases of non-health insurance products despite big increases in health insurance costs.[@@]

The consulting firm surveyed 400 employees for a new report on the employee perspective of benefits costs.

Study results suggest that employees budget for different types of insurance separately rather than treating insurance as a single budget item, Eastbridge consultants say.
