NU Online News Service, Oct. 15, 2003, 4:23 p.m. EDT – AgencyWorks, Salt Lake City, Utah, is helping Jefferson Pilot Financial, Greensboro, N.C., give producers electronic updates on the status of pending cases.
An AgencyWorks Web service program combines data from many different Jefferson Pilot computers and puts the data in a standard format developed by the Association for Cooperative Research and Development, Pearl River, N.Y. Computers then feed the repackaged data to producers.
Jefferson Pilot is a unit of Jefferson-Pilot Corp., Greensboro.
