NU Online News Service, Sept. 18, 2003, 3:01 p.m. EDT – Only 51% of the executives who participated in a recent informal survey say their companies track incidental absence, according to results released by the Disability Management Employer Coalition, San Diego.
When Nucleus Solutions, Arlington, Va., polled 400 attendees at a conference the coalition sponsored in July, it found that only 40% said senior corporate leaders at their companies believe that incidental absence is manageable.
The coalition says it will publish a comprehensive report about incidental absence in the fall.
