NU Online News Service, Sept. 4, 2003, 5:18 p.m. EDT – Benefit Partners of America L.L.C., Nashville, Tenn., has opened an Atlanta office and hired David Essary to run it.
Essary, who will be a senior relationship manager, has worked as a sales representative for UnumProvident Corp., Chattanooga, Tenn. He has been working in the voluntary benefits market in Atlanta since 1998.
Essary has a bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University.
J. Harold Chandler, the former chairman of UnumProvident Corp., Chattanooga, Tenn., is the chairman and one of the co-founders of Benefit Partners.
