NU Online News Service, July 30, 2003, 3:26 p.m. EDT – Healthaxis Inc., Irving, Texas, a company that sells systems for handling employee benefits claims and administering benefits plans, is reporting a $933,000 net loss for the second quarter on $5.5 million in revenue, compared with a $7.2 million net loss on $4.6 million in revenue for the second quarter of 2002.
The company ended the quarter with $10 million in cash and cash equivalents, down from $11 million at the end of 2002.
