NU Online News Service, July 1, 2003, 12:54 p.m. EDT – LOMA, Atlanta, has introduced the Fellow, Financial Services Institute professional designation.
The designation is meant for insurance company employees who work directly with customers and need a general understanding of annuities, retirement plans, employee benefits, mutual funds and banking products, LOMA says.
Core courses cover topics such as risk, marketing and the role of financial intermediaries.
