NU Online News Service, June 24, 2003, 10:11 a.m. EDT – The Standard Life Insurance Company of New York, White Plains, N.Y., has agreed to market an employee assistance program run by the behavioral health unit of Horizon Health Corp., Lewisville, Texas, to employers that buy Standard's disability plans and life insurance plans.
The Horizon EAP gives employees a choice of getting help through the Internet, the telephone or face-to-face meetings.
Standard is a unit of StanCorp Financial Group Inc., Portland, Ore.
