NU Online News Service, June 17, 2003, 3:47 p.m. EDT – Principal Financial Group Inc., Des Moines, Iowa, has added an electronic signature feature to its 401(k) prototype plan.
Sponsors that have adopted the prototype plan now can use "e-signatures" to review and approve amended documents online, Principal says.
Principal gets about 1,000 plan amendments each month for 17,500 prototype plans, the company estimates.
